It takes a while for your body to realize it doesn't have to store water because it is now receiving the amount it requires. Don't rely on thirst as a guide; by the time you feel thirsty, you're already dehydrated.
Try having a glass of water whenever you feel tired or sluggish or have difficulty concentrating. Clear, odor free urine indicates you're drinking enough water.
Drinking a sufficient amount not only flushes out toxins, it slows the aging process, diminishing wrinkles and moisturizes dry skin by hydrating from the inside out.
