6th Chakra Brow
This is the chakra of time and awareness and light. It's linked to the pineal gland responsible for going to sleep and awakening. The sixth chakra is all about self-reflection. It's the center of intellect, inner knowing, discernment, wisdom and clairvoyance. The 6th chakra brow gives you the ability to stand back and look at your life and make the best choices for yourself. This is where you create your beliefs and judgments. The gifts of a balanced 3rd eye chakra are greater clarity, wisdom and acceptance. When this chakra is blocked your capacity for clear thinking is diminished. You may have an attention-deficit disorder. You don't have the mental energy to gather your thoughts, they feel scattered. You may experience anziety, delusion or mental confusion.
To balance this chakra focus on the color Indigo (a blend of blue and red) while meditating. Begin meditating for brief periods of time. Even 5 minutes is good for starters, as you may find it hard to concentrate. You can support this chakra by eating like-colored fruits such as blueberries, red grapes, black berries and raspberries.
