4th Chakra Heart Centre
The 4th Chakra heart centre is your chakra of love, compassion, devotion and generosity. It’s associated with balance, social identity and self-acceptance.
Do you feel lonely and isolated, and have trouble relating to others? You may have a blocked heart chakra. When your 4th chakra heart centre is poorly developed or blocked you have trouble maintaining loving relationships and finding the balance between giving and taking. When it's healthy and balanced, the forth chakra lets you see clearly, both physically and intuitively. It lets you love deeply and feel compassion, peace and centeredness. A balanced fourth chakra fills you with gratitude for the opportunity to live life, and with the desire to give back. The more open it is, the greater your capacity for love. When you haven't experienced security, intimacy and self-esteem in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras, the 4th chakra heart centre can close. Learning to love yourself brings it back into balance, and helps you feel love and compassion for others. Forgiving yourself and others promotes deep healing in the Heart Chakra. A weak heart chakra is telling you to pay attention to your emotional needs. Let yourself fully experience the power of love, and don't take the love others are giving you for granted. To support this chakra, eat plenty of leafy vegetables such as spinach and dandelion greens, and air vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. Stimulate it by doing push-ups, swimming the breast stroke, hugging yourself, and visualizing. When you meditate, imagine you're breathing the colors pink or green.
